About Us
We are an organization dedicated to the promotion of the interests of retirees, spouses, and surviving spouses of the Chevron Corporation (and its antecedent companies), who subscribe to the principles and objectives of the Retirees Association and who are willing to support the programs and financial needs of the Association.
Our purposes are:
-
To facilitate and promote the maintaining of personal contacts with retirees for their mutual interests
-
To maintain continuous contact with management through dissemination of information on operations of the Company. However, it shall not be the practice of this Chapter to intercede directly with Chevron management on behalf of its individual members.
-
To inform the Chevron Retirees Association about matters of value coming to this Chapter's attention which the president feels would be worthy of discussion with Chevron management and would be in the best interests of Chapter members.
-
To encourage retirees to strive to improve the public image of the Chevron Corporation and to support the Company in areas where such support would be helpful.
-
This organization does not contemplate pecuniary gain or profit to the members thereof and it is organized for non-profit purposes

Volunteer Opportunity - Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano
Are you looking for a way to catch up with former colleagues while giving back to the community? We are forming a relationship with the Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano to make a consistent impact in 2026, planning several opportunities to fit your schedule (calendar coming soon)! Leading the fight against local hunger, the Food Bank distributes enough food for 2.7 million meals every month! By sorting fresh produce or packing emergency boxes, you’re providing a basic necessity—nutritious food—to neighbors who are struggling to make ends meet.
We need 12 dedicated members for the next volunteer opportunity on August 13, 1:00-3:00pm and 20 volunteers on September 9, 3:30-5:30. Both work sessions take place at the Concord Warehouse (4010 Nelson Ave.) Please register your interest by emailing CRACoCoEvents@gmail.com. Let’s show the community that Chevron retirees are still leading the way!
Chevron Heritage Center Retiree Tour: July 22
The Chevron Retirees Association has been invited to attend complimentary tours at the Chevron Heritage Center in Dublin. Guided tours are limited to 20 people, and the next tour is scheduled for Wednesday, July 22 from 10:30 – noon. Additional tours will be held in September and November.
The Chevron Heritage Center offers a vast tableau of the oil industry’s rich and varied history. Established within legacy-company Texaco in 1950 to collect historic material, the archive now provides a hefty record of Chevron’s growth from a modest oil prospecting organization formed in 1879 to its current status as one of the world’s great energy companies. The archive’s collection underscores this growth by encompassing the history of Chevron’s many legacy companies, which include such energy pioneers as Standard Oil Co. of California, Texaco Inc., Gulf Oil Corp., Getty Oil Co. and Unocal Corp.
Please RSVP or direct questions to Maggie Pryde at maggie4131@gmail.com. Reservations will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
Additional information will be provided to attendees a few days prior to the tour.

Chevron Golf Club San Ramon
Chevron Golf Club San Ramon (CGCSR) is an NCGA Affiliate Club that has as its base Chevron employees, contractors, and retirees. The club has about 60 members with indexes ranging from 1 to 40. We’ve played about half of our planned 24 outings this year, where the club officers arrange for tee times. At these outings, we have an optional small game going (net or skins), closest to the pin prizes on 2 holes, a season-long match play, a club championship (net and gross winners) and a special end- of-year tournament. Most outings are on Friday or Saturday. We play a wide variety of courses, mostly East Bay, North Bay and Tri-Valley, but a couple up in Sacramento and a Monterey weekend. The NCGA affiliation means that you get an official NCGA handicap and have the opportunity to represent CGCSR in NCGA tournaments (partially subsidized by the club). For 2025, membership is only $85. For more information, contact cgcsanramon@gmail.com or come talk with Brad at the luncheon. We held our Club Championship at Rancho Solano and Paradise Valley over the August 9-10 weekend. The gross winner was Damian Wolfgrem who won by a single stroke over Ivan Zerlin. The net winner was Ari Illeperuna, whose first round score of 67 proved to be too difficult to beat. We have had 2 teams make it through the NCGA Qualifiers and go to the various NCGA Championships.
This website is managed by the Chevron Retirees Association, which is not a subsidiary of Chevron Corporation but an independent organization of retired employees of Chevron or its predecessor companies.
