Members: Who's Doing What?

Noting there were no “Who’s Doing What” articles received from Global Affiliates colleagues for inclusion in the 3Q2026 The Update, highlights on the 2026 CRA Annual Meeting in Calgary, Alberta, Canada are listed.

​CRA colleagues were gracious and welcoming to my family. I have always wanted to include relatives who travel with me to CRA annual meetings in both the meetings and evening dinners. The 2026 Annual Meeting gave my sons, Jerry and Caleb, a valuable opportunity to connect with retirees from across the company, share their early career experiences, and discuss their hopes for the future. My family later shared that they viewed Chevron colleagues as an exceptional group, making the networking experience truly priceless and mutually beneficial.

​Outgoing President Glenn Ewan hosted a social hour with CRA colleagues. Glenn’s daughter and grandson joined him as he reflected on his year as CRA President. Thank you to Glenn for his efforts to strengthen the CRA.

Maya Pendleton and Mike Colvin received their Public Service Award (PSA).

​​Acknowledging there were multiple very qualified candidates for the two 2026 Public Service Awards, Mike Colvin and Maya Pendleton are this year winners.  Mike Colvin of Contra Costa Chapter, and Chair of the CRA Planning and Research Committee, demonstrated extraordinary commitment to service to others through his volunteer leadership work with White Pony Express.

Maya Pendleton of the Houston Chapter devotes many volunteer hours supporting children and families through the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

It was a great honor to be a member of the Public Affairs Committee that evaluated PSA candidates, and to assist with the presentation of the PSAs at the 2026 Annual Meeting.

CRA President Elect Steve Bergtholdt participated in the Showdown at Heritage Park, A Wild West Adventure.

​President Elect Steve Bergtholdt was a target of the bad guys including Black Bart and his gang. A ripple of shared laughter filled the atmosphere as the skit drew everyone in, reflecting a warm spirit of enjoyment, All in fun.  The Country & Western skit fits well in one of Steve’s goals as noted.

• Ensure all Chevron Retirees know all that the CRA does

• Have more fun (e.g. the Showdown at Heritage Park)

It was an enjoyable evening with great camaraderie and well-prepared meals.
